Two-Tone Ash Restaurant Table
Nineteen tables were crafted from native ash and poplar trees. Our client's wish was to preserve the ash tree's rich legacy as an Ohio hardwood. The beautiful grain patterns of these as tabletops are truly beautiful. Traditional mortise-and-tenon construction methods were utilized for assembly. All finishes are durable post-catalyzed conversion varnish.

This walnut was carefully selected from trees harvested locally and replaced at a 10:1 ratio. Slabs were then matched for grain, shape and color. All splits and voids were filled with epoxy tinted with chocolate powder. Once installed, all surfaces were sealed with natural shellac. A durable water-based low-lustre finish was then applied to accentuate the wood's natural beauty.

CNC-Cut, Laser-Engraved, Quarter-Sawn White Oak Tap Handle
This handle was custom-designed by Gryphon to incorporate the outline of a pizza peel with the shape of our client's coal-fired pizza oven. Genuine antracite coal was embedded in the "oven chamber" and then airbrushed to simulate the look of a burning coal pile.
